In the forthcoming national election of 2024, John Dramani Mahama, the former president and flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to keeping all of his promises to the people of Ghana.

During the 2024 Policy Dialogue that took place in Peduase, Eastern Region, on February 22 and 23, 2024, he declared, “I mean business on the promises I have made and intend to keep them.”

The purpose of the presentation was to discuss the NDC’s policy priorities for the December 7, 2024, presidential and parliamentary elections.

Mr. Mahama underscored significant pledges such as the reduction of government, the abolition of ex gratia, and the removal of the e-levy.

“Since 2021, I have outlined over 60 different policy proposals, carefully curated to restore our economy and national life in general, to a much better state,” he said.

Emphasizing the efficacy of his policy proposals, such as the “24-Hour Economy” and the “Digital Jobs Initiative,” the former President and NDC flag bearer said that these programs had the ability to significantly enhance the country’s prospects, particularly its economy.

The two-day NDC forum served as a warm-up for the process of developing the 2024 manifesto.
