Dr. Bawumia welcomed the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, and the leadership of the National Muslim Conference (NMC) yesterday.
The NMC presented their proposals to Dr. Bawumia for consideration into the NPP’s 2024 manifesto, along with the leadership of Dr. Bawumia’s campaign and manifesto committees.
Dr. Bawumia gave the NMC a tour of the extensive infrastructural and other development projects his government has implemented in Zongos all over the nation, all the while restating the NPP’s commitment to inclusive development.
These include classroom buildings, ICT libraries, mechanized irrigation systems, scholarships, astroturf, and entrepreneurship training, all made possible by the Zongo Development Fund, which the government created in keeping with their campaign promises.
Dr. Bawumia stated that his campaign and manifesto team are prepared to take into account suggestions from the NMC and other stakeholders for all-inclusive development. They are still dedicated to advancing the nation through policies and structures.
