Following the serious accident, all members of the Black Stars technical crew, including head coach Otto Addo, are in stable health, according to a statement sent by the Ghana Football Association’s communications department.
At the time of the incident, Head Coach Otto Addo, Assistant Coach John Paintsil, and Goalkeepers Trainer Fatawu Dauda were traveling back from Tarkwa in the Western Region.
The team was returning to Accra from an official assignment to watch FC Samartex 1996 vs. Nsoatreman FC in the Champion of Champions match.
It is stated that the three technical team members are in stable health.

“We are happy to report that all three members of the technical team are in stable condition and will undergo further medical assessments, as a precautionary measure, upon their return to Accra.
“We are confident that the technical team will be in good shape and ready to lead the Black Stars in the upcoming AFCON qualifiers against Angola and Niger.
The GFA statement said, “We appreciate the public’s concern and ask for your continued support and prayers as we prepare for these important matches.”
