A number of important routes in the Greater Accra Region will be closed from September 21 to 24, 2024, according to the Ghana Police Service, as part of their ongoing special operations.

The particular roads that will be impacted and the alternate traffic diversions that will be used were disclosed by the Police in a statement that was made public on Friday, September 20.

During this time, Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) officers will be on the road to help drivers and handle traffic.

Additionally, the Police cautioned pedestrians from using the area that connects the 37 Roundabout and the AU Roundabout.

For people living in the impacted areas and those in need of access to TV3 and the 37 Military Hospital, special arrangements will be made.

To ensure that traffic moves smoothly during the roadblocks, drivers and pedestrians are urged to abide by the diversions and traffic police’ instructions.
