Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia met with representatives of the tourism and creative arts industry in Accra last night, and the meeting was both lively and productive.
Their conversations centered on this important economic sector’s expansion.
In order to guarantee that the industry’s full potential is realized, Dr. Bawumia gave the stakeholders his word that, in his capacity as President, he would greatly expand state investment in the sector.
“The sector is a major growth pole for any country, and if we put in the necessary investment, the returns will be enormous for industry players and the country, in many ways.” he reiterated.
“I am immensely grateful to all, for your presence, insights and encouragement on this journey of possibilities.” He added.
