Hon. Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, the Minister for Gender, Children, and Social Protection, had a courtesy call from the Executive Committee of the Accra East Assemblies of God to congratulate her on her appointment and promise support during her term.
The delegation, led by Rev. Andrews N. Awintin, congratulated the Minister on her accomplishment and expressed joy in seeing a fellow church member appointed to a high position in service to the country and God.
They conveyed their belief that she can spearhead initiatives that advance social protection, gender equality, and national growth.
The church’s social intervention program, “AG Care,” which provides the destitute and vulnerable with the resources and skills they need to become self-sufficient, was also highlighted by the church officials.

They said that they would be open to working with the Ministry to provide assistance to disadvantaged populations nationwide.
The visit and the church’s steadfast support were both appreciated by Hon. Dr. Agnes Naa Momo Lartey. She emphasized the value of collaborations in accomplishing national development objectives while acknowledging the influence of their prayers and support.
She reiterated her dedication to supporting social protection and youth development programs, acknowledging the Assemblies of God’s role in producing accountable and forward-thinking leaders.
As she looked back on her journey, the minister recalled her happy experiences of being actively involved in the church since she was a young girl, having held positions as a women’s leader, youth ministry president, and Sunday School instructor.
She assured the group of her commitment to serving the nation with excellence and integrity and thanked them for their prayers and support.
