In the Ghana Police Service, Christian Tetteh Yohuno, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), has announced new appointments and transferred senior officers to different directorates and regional commands.
According to a statement released by the Police Service’s Public Affairs Directorate on March 19, 2025, the modifications are effective immediately.
The Police Management Board that has been reorganized consists of:

President John Dramani Mahama named Mr. Yohuno IGP on March 13, 2025, and he took office the next day.
He took over the service from Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, who oversaw it from October 2021 until his retirement.
Mr. Yohuno was sworn in at Jubilee House, where President Mahama asked him to maintain public safety and bolster law enforcement.
