Dr. Naomi Wolali Kwetey has been named the next Managing Director of Consolidated Bank Ghana LTD (CBG), with effect from March 26, 2025.
She succeeds Daniel Wilson Addo, who has been the Managing Director of CBG since the company’s founding on August 1, 2018.
Yaw Asamoah, the chairman of the board, thanked Mr. Wilson Addo for his inspiring leadership.
“Mr. Addo has been instrumental in establishing a strong foundation for the bank, navigating challenging waters, and ensuring growth and stability. His tenure has had a lasting impact, and the board extends its deepest gratitude for his invaluable contributions. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours,” he said.
Dr. Naomi Wolali Kwetey has thirty years of expertise in the financial industry, with a focus on operational risk management, branch banking marketing, credit administration, corporate relationship management, and treasury.
She graduated from the University of Ghana with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, the Birmingham Business School with a Master of Business Administration in International Banking and Finance, and Nobel International Business School (NiBS) with a Doctorate in Business Administration and Management.
Dr. Wolali Kwetey contributes her vast experience in banking, finance, and strategic management to guide CBG’s operations, increasing impact and driving revolutionary expansion.
With a strategic focus on SME lending, digital banking expansion, and corporate alliances, CBG stated that it is still dedicated to providing customer-centric innovations and sustainable financial solutions.
