With just a few weeks until the big event, artists are fiercely competing for top slots in the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs) nominations.
Some are adopting a more direct strategy, aggressively seeking support on social media and other platforms, while others have hired public relations firms to advance their cause.
KiDi is using his own campaign on social media to make a compelling argument for himself. The singer of popular songs including Touch It, Mon Bebe, Spiritual, and Enjoyment claimed in a tweet on X that his song Likor has no competition in the categories.
“No song should beat Lomo Lomo in ANY category! But I need you to vote, my loves,” he posted.
Nominated for Best Afrobeats/Afropop Artiste(s), Best Afrobeats Song, Collaboration of the Year, and the coveted Telecel Most Popular Song of the Year, “Lomo Lomo” features Black Sherif.
The Grand Arena will host the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards on May 10, 2025.
The top Artiste of the Year title is being contested by Stonebwoy, King Promise, Black Sherif, Team Eternity Ghana, Kweku Smoke, King Paluta, and Joe Mettle.
