The public has been informed about the Accra Regional Police Command’s investigations into the widely shared video showing a guy threatening to shoot any police officer he comes across.
According to a police statement on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, the person in the video, identified in the video as 32-year-old filmmaker Israel Agbo Forson, was arrested on Monday, June 23, 2025, following an intelligence-led operation.
According to the statement, the suspect is presently cooperating with ongoing investigations while on police inquiry bail.
A severe condemnation of “acts of incitement, threats, and obstruction against law enforcement officers” was issued by the Ghana Police Service (GPS). Such behavior not only violates the law but also jeopardizes public safety and police authority.
In order to uphold law and order, the Command promises the public that it will continue to take the required actions to hold criminals accountable.
