The price of petrol is expected to go up marginally from August 1, 2025. However, the prices of diesel and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) are expected to decline.
This is based on the outlook report that guides the pricing of the Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) in the country by the Chamber of Oil Marketing Companies (COMAC).
According to the report, the price of petrol at the pumps is projected to increase by 0.47% to GH¢2.80 per liter.
Diesel and LPG prices, on the other hand, are expected to decline by up to 0.29% per litre at the pumps.
However, some OMCS told Joy Business that they might keep their prices unchanged for some products at the pumps.
