Ralph, a social media activist, appears to have turned to the deities for justice in the event that occurred at Ridge Hospital.

He denies attacking a nurse when he and several other guys invaded the hospital’s emergency unit a week ago.

In a video uploaded on social media, the activist is shown alongside several traditionalists who are sacrificing a goat in honor of the gods who would battle for justice on his behalf.

Meanwhile, Rejoice Tsotso Bortei, a nurse at Greater Accra Regional (Ridge) Hospital who was assaulted during a violent incident involving a patient’s relatives on August 17, has filed a civil lawsuit against social media personality Ralph Saint Williams, also known as Ralph De Fellow Ghanaian.

In a writ of summons filed by the High Court in Accra, Rejoice seeks GHS 7 million in damages for claimed bodily assault and defamation.

The summons, signed by Acting Chief Justice P. Baffoe-Bonnie, requires the defendant to appear within eight days after serving.

“You are hereby commanded that within eight days after service of this writ on you, inclusive of the day of service, you do cause an appearance to be entered for you, Ralph Saint Williams a.k.a. Ralph De Fellow Ghanaian,” stated the court’s order.

It further warns that failing to cooperate could result in judgment being rendered in his absence.

The lawsuit comes from an altercation at Ridge Hospital in which Rejoice Bortei was reportedly injured during a chaotic situation caused by a patient’s family.

She is now seeking legal recourse, accusing Ralph of exacerbating the situation with defamatory comments that followed.
