A 7.44% stake in Access Bank Ghana PLC has been sold by Access Bank PLC.

Access Bank PLC has completed the sale of a 7.44% shareholding in Access Bank Ghana PLC, in a transaction aimed at deepening local ownership and improving liquidity in the bank’s shares on the Ghana Stock Exchange.

Access Bank Ghana announced that its parent company sold 12,085,318 ordinary shares in the Ghanaian subsidiary, representing 7.44% of the bank’s issued ordinary shares.

The transaction was completed on July 15, 2026, and executed on the Ghana Stock Exchange after securing the required regulatory approvals, including a no-objection from the Bank of Ghana.
