A road accident in Offinso Namong, close to the SDA Hospital in the Ashanti Region, resulted in one fatality and thirty-one injuries.
A KIA Grandbird bus and a HOWO articulator truck were involved in the collision, which happened early on Sunday, June 21, 2026.
Personnel from the Offinso Fire Station arrived to the scene at approximately 5:19 AM, according to the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS).
The injured victims were taken to the SDA Hospital for medical care after being rescued by members of the public.
One individual was declared deceased at the site, according to the fire department.
The crash’s cause has not yet been determined and is still being looked into.
