Ada SHS students drown in the Volta river

In the Volta River near their school, two kids from the Ada Senior High School (SHS) in the Greater Accra Region were washed away by tidal surges.

Due to a recent water shortage at the school, it is said that the two pupils went to the Volta River to take a bath.

But the tidal waves carried them away.

The spectators’ attempts to save the pupils were all in vain.

Since then, the students’ bodies have been located.
