Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, a former Member of Parliament (MP) for the Adentan seat, has been chosen as the NDC’s Greater Accra Regional Chairman (NDC).

At the Tema Sports Stadium on Sunday, Ashie Moore defeated Joseph Ade Coker, the current Chairman, with 327 votes to win the election. Coker had received 222 votes.

If he was kept on as the Greater Accra Regional Chairman, Ade Coker had promised to annex the NDC’s lost seats in Parliament.

Kennedy Hedo received 607 votes to earn the position of Deputy Treasurer, and Jerry Johnson was chosen as the party’s Greater Accra communication officer.

Gambo Abdulai won the position of Deputy Organiser, and Mohammed Norga was chosen as Treasurer. Theophilus Tetteh won the election for secretary while Anthony Nukpenu was maintained as the organizer.
