While serving as Minister of Trade and Industry, Movement for Change founder and leader Alan Kyerematen has boasted of creating the 1-District-1-Factory strategy from the ground up.
“Despite the difficulties the policy faced during implementation, I am proud of the impact the initiative has had on Ghana’s economy,” he wrote on Facebook.
According to him, 170,000 new employment have been created by the program, which President Akufo-Addo emphasized in his recent speech to the legislature, demonstrating its success in boosting the local economies of the areas where the industries are located.
Mr. Kyerematen claims he will expand the 1D1F policy and make sure every district gains from industrial growth if elected to be the nation’s president.
He emphasized that inclusive prosperity—where every district flourishes with industrial activity—is at the heart of his vision for Ghana.
He emphasized that the nation can stimulate innovation and fire the entrepreneurial spirit by investing more funds in the 1D1F program.
He went on to say that “we can unlock Ghana’s full potential for prosperity and dignity for generations to come” with daring leadership and wise investment.
Mr. Kyerematen promised to support this goal, which is driven by honesty, vision, and a strong dedication to the well-being of all Ghanaians.
