The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has officially released the timetable for its 2026 constituency, regional, and national executive elections, outlining the key dates and procedures for the party’s internal electoral process.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, August 5, the NDC disclosed that its Functional Executive Committee (FEC) approved the comprehensive election roadmap during a meeting held on August 4, 2026.
The election schedule details important activities, including the opening of nominations, filing of nomination forms, vetting of aspirants, appeals, and voting for party executive positions at the constituency, regional, and national levels.
NDC Constituency Executive Elections 2026
According to the timetable, nominations for constituency executive positions will open from September 15 to September 17, 2026. Voting for constituency executives is scheduled to take place on October 24 and October 25, 2026 across the country.
NDC Regional Executive Elections 2026
For the regional executive elections, nominations will be opened from October 6 to October 7, 2026. The Regional Youth and Women Conference will be held on November 13, 2026, ahead of the regional executive elections slated for November 14 and November 15, 2026.
NDC National Executive Elections 2026
At the national level, nominations for executive positions will open from October 20 to October 21, 2026, while the filing of nomination forms is expected to take place between November 7 and November 9, 2026.
The party has scheduled the vetting of all qualified aspirants for November 12 and November 13, 2026, with the appeals process taking place on November 15 and November 16, 2026.
The National Youth and Women Conference is expected to be held on December 12, 2026, while the highly anticipated National Congress, where delegates will elect the party’s national executives, is scheduled for December 19, 2026.

The National Democratic Congress urged all regional and constituency executives, aspiring candidates, delegates, and party members to carefully study the approved election timetable and comply with every deadline and requirement.
