Assin Fosu police are looking for Uncle Joe, a 20-year-old male, after he cut his friend with a cutlass in Pomaa Pokuase in the Assin Fosu Municipality of the Central Region.

The culprit allegedly failed to give the victim, Emmanuel Appiah, 22, his GH20 portion of the money they both earned for more than two weeks while he was being treated at the Assin Fosu Polyclinic.

In an interview with Kasapa News’ Yaw Boagyan, the victim’s father, Nana Appiah, related how the victim, who was in desperate need of money, had reported the suspect to his father.

Uncle Joe, the suspect, went to the victim’s home with a cutlass in order to assault him since he was angry over how the victim had reported the problem to his father.

To stab the victim in the stomach, the suspect pushed it up.

However, the suspect pulled the cutlass violently when the victim clutched it with both hands, severing 8 of the victim’s fingers.

After inflicting injuries on the victim, the culprit fled the scene.

Since then, the case has been reported to the Assin Fosu Police Command, and an investigation has been opened.
