Borteyman gets new Police Station

The Borteyman Police Station in Accra was formally put into service by Interior Minister Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, who described it as a representation of the community’s will to preserve property, protect lives, and enforce the law.

In order to make the police station a reality, Hon. Muntaka thanked the Ghana Police Service, locals, and stakeholders for their unwavering cooperation and hard work.

He underlined that the police station will be an essential center for police operations and community involvement, allowing officers to react quickly to emergencies and collaborate closely with locals to resolve security-related issues.

In order to promote a culture of safety and peace, the minister urged citizens to cooperate with law enforcement, exchange information, and partner with them.

Additionally, he urged the station’s personnel to interact with the community, pay attention to their issues, and provide devoted and respectful service.

In further remarks, DCOP Barnabas Nasumong, the Tema Regional Police Commander, reaffirmed the minister’s appeal for professionalism and community collaboration while reassuring locals that the station will function honorably and in response to their requirements.

The Inspector General of Police, Commissioners of Police, members of the Ghana Police Service, the Acting Chief Director of the Ministry of the Interior, and residents of Borteyman attended the event.
