The parties in the case involving Patricia Asieduaa, also known as Nana Agradaa, and her co-accused have been instructed by the Accra High Court to submit the conditions of a proposed plea deal before the next hearing.

The agreement must be filed at least three days prior to the December 16, 2025, adjournment date, according to the Court’s ruling.

Prosecutors said they were thinking of requesting a bench warrant for the second accused at the sessions on Tuesday, December 2.

However, defence lawyers acknowledged that they had not been issued with the hearing notice.

Counsel for Nana Agradaa advised the Court that conversations with the Office of the Attorney-General on a potential plea bargain were “far advanced” and asked a short adjournment.

The prosecutor acknowledged that the complainant, Emmanuel Appiah Fumum, had been part in the continuing conversations and was present in court.

The Judge subsequently asked the Registry to ensure that a hearing notice is properly served to counsel for the second accused before the next court date.

The issue originates from charges that Nana Agradaa, a former fetish priestess turned evangelist, posted nude photographs of Pastor Emmanuel Appiah Fumum (popularly known as Osofo Biblical) on her TV station and social media channels without his authorization.

Prosecutors claim that the images were displayed during a live program where panelists made fun of the complainant, in violation of the Cybersecurity Act, 2020 (Act 1038), which forbids the dissemination of private photos without consent.

In court was Nana Agradaa, who is presently serving a 15-year prison sentence for defrauding by false pretence in a different case.

The complainant’s recent media appearances, in which he purportedly stated that their client had been in a bad position since her arrest, alarmed Nana Agradaa’s attorneys.

However, the presiding judge asked the prosecution to teach the complainant to avoid making such remarks in public.
