Patricia Asiedua, also known as Nana Agradaa, who is being detained in connection with an alleged money-doubling scheme, had her bail conditions changed by an Accra Circuit Court.

Nana Agradaa, better known as Evangelist Mama Pat, was granted bail in the amount of GHC50,000 with three sureties who must be government employees making at least GHC2,000 a month, according to the court presided over by Samuel Bright Acquah.

However, on Thursday, Mr. Paul Asibi Abariga, the attorney representing Heaven Way Champion International Ministry’s founder, pleaded with the court to reconsider his client’s bail conditions because she was unable to comply with them.

In light of the aforementioned, the court modified Nana Agradaa’s bail conditions.

Currently, bail has been set at $100,000 with five sureties for Nana Agradaa.

According to the court, the sureties must be Ghanaians who reside in Accra and operate their enterprises there.

Agradaa was also told to report to the Police on Mondays and Fridays. The subject will now be discussed on November 23.

Six counts of defrauding under false pretenses and deceptive advertising are brought against Nana Agradaa.

She has refuted the accusations.
