It is now up to the delegates in Dome Kwabenya, according to Ellen Ama Daaku, to either nominate a stronger candidate for the House of Representatives or keep Sarah Adwoa Safo as the existing lawmaker.
According to her, delegates in the Constituency will make the decision after taking recent changes to the area into account, not anyone at the moment.
She views the member of parliament for Dome Kwabenya as one of the few female politicians who had widespread support and served as an example for many other female politicians, but recent events have left much to be desired.
“As we speak, the NPP Delegates in Dome Kwabenya now have the duty to choose a better Member of Parliament.
It is up to the delegates and residents of the constituency to decide whether Adwoa Safo should remain their member of parliament in light of everything that has happened, she said.
