EC will destroy the Western and Eastern regions’ recalled ballots at 4 PM today.

The newly recalled ballots for the Eastern and Western Regions will be burned, according to the Electoral Commission (EC).

in 4 PM today, Tuesday, December 3, 2024, “at Sekondi-Takoradi and Koforidua respectively,” the destruction will occur.

Samuel Tettey, the Deputy Chairman (Operations) of the EC, signed a letter indicating this.

At the regional level, “candidates are to provide two (2) representatives to observe the destruction of the ballot papers,” the EC stated.
