The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced a scheduled power outage in parts of the Central Region as the company undertakes planned maintenance works to improve electricity supply and service delivery.

According to ECG, the planned maintenance exercise will take place on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, and will result in a temporary interruption of power supply in several communities.

The maintenance exercise is scheduled to begin at 9:00am and end at 4:00pm on Wednesday.
