At a ceremony conducted at the Jubilee House in Accra on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, four recently appointed Ambassadors-Designate and one High Commissioner-Designate presented Letters of Credence to President H.E. John Dramani Mahama of the Republic of Ghana.
H.E. Mr. Lincoln George Downer of Jamaica, H.E. Mr. Athanasios V. Kotsionis of the Hellenic Republic of Greece, H.E. Mr. Bui Quoc Hung of the Republic of Vietnam, H.E. Mr. Antit Mohsen of the Republic of Tunisia, and H.E. Mr. Edouard Nduwimana of the Republic of Burundi were among the envoys.
Their tenure of service in Ghana formally began with their credential presentations.

In separate appearances, President Mahama expressed his government’s dedication to enhancing bilateral relations with the respective nations and thanked the envoys on their appointments.
He added that the goal of the government’s 24-hour economy strategy and Resetting Ghana agenda is to provide prosperity to Ghanaians.
Trade, agriculture, health, tourism, marine affairs, the green economy, education, and democratic government were among the topics of discussion with the envoys that caught both parties’ attention.
In order to offer a systematic framework for interaction with the various nations, President Mahama further emphasized the significance of establishing Permanent Joint Commissions for Cooperation (PJCCs).
He also emphasized Ghana’s ongoing dedication to international collaboration and diplomacy.
In addition to expressing their commitment to strengthening diplomatic and developmental ties with Ghana, the envoys carried congratulations from their respective heads of state.
They praised Ghana’s commitment to inclusive growth, peace, and leadership in the region.
Senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Office of the President attended the ceremony.
