The World Gold Council (WGC), the international authority on gold that brings global expertise and market access to the table, and the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources have formed a transformative partnership in a major step towards sustainable mining to secure the future of Ghana’s gold sector.
With the establishment of new, regulated community processing facilities under the Responsible Cooperative Mining and Skills Development Programme (rCOMSDEP), this strategic partnership is positioned to take decisive action against illicit mining by building a first-of-its-kind, fully traceable gold supply chain.
