The newly constituted Council, led by its President, Dr. Ellen Ohene-Afoakwa, FCIB, has paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Education to formally introduce its new leadership and discuss key issues related to its mandate.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the Council to engage the Education Minister on its responsibilities, ongoing activities and priorities within Ghana’s education sector.
Council Outlines Key Education Priorities
During the engagement, the Council discussed matters concerning its mandate and how it can contribute to the development and implementation of initiatives aimed at improving education delivery in Ghana.
The meeting is expected to strengthen collaboration between the Council and the Ministry of Education, particularly in areas involving education policy, institutional development and effective administration.
