Hon. Francis Asenso-Boakye has reaffirmed the government’s pledge to safeguard communications infrastructure, especially fiber optic cables, while building new roads around the nation.
To this aim, the Minister has stressed the necessity of enhancing cooperation between the Ministry of Roads and Highways and telecom companies in order to tackle the difficulties brought about by harm to telecom infrastructure while building roads.

The government will support the implementation of the draft Road Reservation Management Policy, according to Hon. Asenso-Boakye. According to him, this is consistent with the government’s overarching plan to improve national connectivity and promote digital transformation throughout the nation.
