Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, the Minister of Health, addressed to the Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association of Ghana yesterday at PMAG Day 2026.
He reiterated the government’s commitment to bolstering local pharmaceutical manufacturing through investment in quality systems, innovation, and strategic procurement.
“Government is encouraging pharmaceutical manufacturers to take advantage of financing available through the Ghana EXIM Bank to expand production, improve standards, and emerge as competitive manufacturers serving Ghana, the subregion, and beyond”, he added
