I absolutely dispute the premise that Ghana was created by a single individual – President Akufo-Addo

The notion that Ghana was founded by a single person has been categorically refuted by President Akufo-Addo.

This was stated by the President in his Founders’ Day speech for 2024 on Saturday, August 3.

In order to recognize the combined efforts of all individuals who supported Ghana’s independence movement, Parliament approved a bill in 2019 recognizing September 21 as Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day and August 4 as Founders’ Day.
