According to a recent opinion survey by Global InfoAnalytics, Alan Kyerematen, a former trade and industry minister, will win the NPP presidential primary.
According to InfoAnalytics, Mr. Kyerematen will prevail over Vice-President Dr. Alhaji Mahmoud Bawumia by a vote margin of 57% to 43% in the runoff elections.
Mr. Kyerematen will still prevail over Mr. Bawumia in the first round of the primaries with 30% of the vote to Mr. Bawumia’s 29%.
According to the research, Assin Central MP Kennedy Ohene Adjapong will finish third with 23% of the vote. The remaining money will be distributed to other candidates and “undecided” voters.
For the third time in a row, an InfoAnalytics poll has indicated Mr. Kyerematen will prevail in the next NPP presidential primaries, which will determine their nominee for the 2024 general elections.
The poll sample was estimated by the researchers to be 5,490, with a 99% confidence range. The error margin was plus or minus 1.737%.
A random simulation model was used to choose 75 constituencies with a total voter population of 4,877 028.
