Rapper Ja Rule of the United States and his wife Aisha Atkins paid tribute to Ghana’s first president and legendary figurehead at the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park in Accra.

The pair stopped to consider Kwame Nkrumah’s legacy and the effects of his leadership on Ghana and the African continent during the visit.

Their enthusiasm for Nkrumah’s vision and dedication to Ghana’s independence struggle was also conveyed.

Leading the charge to build a classroom building at the Nuaso Anglican Primary School are Ja Rule and Aisha Atkins in association with the US nonprofit group Pencils of Promise.

Ja Rule, in collaboration with Pencils of Promise, is poised to transform the educational landscape. As they collaborate with Ja Rule to give back to the community, a hearty welcome from Freeman Gobah, Country Director, and Administration Manager Ebelin Hilda of Pencils of Promise.
