President John Dramani Mahama is expected to cut sod in the coming weeks for the construction of three 160-bed Regional Referral Hospitals in the Oti, Savannah and Western North Regions.
The major healthcare projects form part of the government’s broader plan to improve health infrastructure in Ghana and expand access to quality and specialised medical services across the country.
Oti Regional Referral Hospital
The proposed Oti Regional Referral Hospital is among the three projects planned by the government. The design for the facility has already been unveiled as preparations advance toward the start of construction.
The hospital is expected to strengthen healthcare delivery and referral services in the Oti Region, reducing the need for residents to travel long distances to access specialised medical care.
