The Ghanaian Electoral Commission (EC) has declared that the Kpandai Constituency Parliamentary Election would be held again on Tuesday, December 30, 2025.
This ruling came after the Tamale High Court issued an order on Monday, November 24, 2025, requiring a repeat of the election to take place within thirty (30) days.
On Tuesday, December 9, 2025, the Commission received an official notification from the Clerk to Parliament stating that the constituency’s parliamentary seat was vacant. This further prompted the Commission to take action.
The three candidates that ran in the first 2024 Parliamentary Election for the Kpandai Constituency will be the only ones running in the rerun, according to a press release from the EC.
