A major milestone has been achieved in Ghana’s road infrastructure development, with 175.6 kilometres of right of way cleared along the Accra-Kumasi Expressway.
The exercise was completed in 19 weeks, one week ahead of the estimated 20-week timeline, marking significant progress in preparations for the major Accra-Kumasi Expressway project.
The successful completion of the right-of-way clearance is expected to support the next phase of the project and contribute to improved road connectivity, transportation and economic development along the Accra-Kumasi corridor.
The development represents another important step toward strengthening Ghana’s road network and improving the movement of people and goods between major economic centres.
