The cost of this year’s Hajj pilgrim is estimated at GHS75,000 ($6,500) by the Ghana Hajj Board. The payment date for this year is April 30, 2023.
The Board informed potential pilgrims in a statement that the cedi equivalent of GHS75,000 is valid until March 31, 2023, and that it may alter thereafter depending on the USD exchange rate in effect after March.
So, in order to reserve their spots, prospective pilgrims have been urged to pay in advance through any of the 42 accredited brokers nationally.
