President Mahama Appoints COP Yohuno As Inspector-General Of Police

Christian Tetteh Yohuno, a Commissioner of Police (COP), was named Inspector-General of Police by President John Dramani Mahama in compliance with Articles 91 and 202 of the 1992 Constitution after consulting with the Council of State.

He takes Dr. George Akuffo Dampare’s place as COP.

With forty years of experience, COP Yohuno is anticipated to lead the Ghana Police Service’s modernization and reform in his role as IGP.
