The Ministry of Education has signed an agreement with QG Construction UK Limited to establish an Institute of Green and Sustainable Science and Technology on the Acherensua Campus of the University of Engineering and Agricultural Sciences (UEAS), Bunso.
The institute is expected to serve as a hub for practical learning, industrial engagement, and applied research, assisting Ghana’s efforts to achieve sustainable development and a green economy, while also establishing UEAS as a vital centre for science and technological innovation.
The project will boost research, training, and innovation in green technology, climate-smart agriculture, and sustainable engineering, while also providing students with skills for Ghana’s green future.
