The Hon. Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, spoke at the commissioning of a new office building and the donation of a Nissan pickup truck for the Ghana Immigration Service in Mampong, Ashanti Region. He reiterated the government’s commitment to enhancing border security and management in the nation as well as national security.
The Minister underlined the government’s steadfast dedication to boosting national security and the well-being of security forces.

In order to help the Ghana Immigration Service carry out its purpose efficiently, he emphasized the necessity of new infrastructure, capacity building, and the deployment of contemporary equipment and logistics.
He praised VIP Transport Services’ CEO, Mr. Yaw Amponsah Marfo, for building an office building and donating a brand-new pickup truck to the Ghana Immigration Service.
He said the donation is a prime example of how public-private partnerships can propel national development and improve security infrastructure.
He claims that the state-of-the-art office complex will house the Mampong Sector Command’s headquarters and offer staff members a state-of-the-art workspace.
He went on to say that the Ghana Immigration Service’s operational effectiveness and mobility in the area will be much improved by the new Nissan pickup truck.

In his remarks, Mr. Samuel Basintale Amadu, the Comptroller General of Immigration, outlined the difficulties the department faces in finding office space across the country and promised to work with the Interior Minister to find answers first.
He promised that the facility would be well-maintained and used, and he thanked Mr. Yaw Amponsah Marfo for the kind gesture.
The Immigration Service received the facility and a pickup truck from VIP CEO Mr. Yaw Ampofo Marfo, who said the donation is his way of giving back to the community that has helped shape his success and demonstrates his dedication to helping humanitarian causes for the benefit of Ghana as a whole.
One of the main organizations within the Ministry of the Interior is the Ghana Immigration Service, which is in charge of controlling foreigners’ access, stay, work, and departure from Ghana.
