A group from Helios Towers Ghana has paid a courtesy call to Rev. Ing. Edmund Yirenkyi Fianko, the acting Director General of the National Communications Authority (NCA).

The delegation came to the NCA to congratulate him on his appointment and to present Mr. Kwaku Frimpong, the company’s new managing director.

The NCA and Helios Towers discussed at the meeting how regulatory frameworks and telecommunications infrastructure have changed and affected the industry.

The talks centered on improving cooperation to expedite procedures, guarantee compliance with rules, and encourage long-term expansion in the telecom industry.

Mr. Frimpong was excited about the potential for coordinating strategies with the NCA to successfully tackle industrial issues.

The courtesy call, according to Rev. Ing. Edmund Yirenkyi Fianko, marks a significant turning point in the development of stronger links between Helios Towers and the NCA.

He emphasized the Regulator’s function in creating an atmosphere that is favorable to investment and innovation in Ghana’s telecom sector.

He continued by praising the business for its ongoing involvement in regulatory actions aimed at promoting high-quality, easily available telecom service across the country.

Rev. Ing. Fianko also took advantage of the occasion to present to the delegation Mr. Salifu Suleman, the Authority’s recently hired Deputy Director General for Technical Operations.

He asked Helios Towers to cooperate with him as well, offering their whole support and cooperation.
