The late Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Sarfo’s family, lead by Hon. Sarah Adwoa Sarfo, the head of the Kantanka family, has formally notified the Rt. Hon. Speaker of Parliament of the final funeral plans for the esteemed industrialist and man of God.
The Speaker received a courtesy call from the delegation, which included religious leaders and close relatives, to discuss the specifics of the burial, which is scheduled for July 30, 2026, in Gomoa Mpota in the Central Region.
On July 31, 2026, Independence Square will have a spectacular funeral service. A week later, Heroes Park in Kumasi will host a second memorial service.
The speaker praised the late Apostle Dr. Sarfo throughout the meeting, emphasising his enormous contributions to agriculture, technology, philanthropy, charity, and religion.

He commended the late founder of the Saviour Church of Ghana and the Kantanka Group for his lifetime commitment to human welfare and national development.
The Speaker also praised the church for creating a museum in his honour, describing it as a worthy homage to a man who blessed the country with his gift from God.
The Speaker emphasised that the country had lost a rare gem while assuring the family of Parliament’s complete support, attendance, and involvement in the funeral activities.
He thanked God for providing Ghana with such a visionary leader, whose service, faith, and inventiveness will inspire future generations.
The family thanked everyone for the cordial welcome and invited everyone to join them in honouring the late Apostle’s life.
