The Hon. Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Emelia Arthur, had a courtesy call from H.E. Irchad Ramiandrasoa Razaaly, the European Union Ambassador to Ghana, at the Ministry in Accra today.
The Ambassador conveyed the EU’s dedication to assisting Ghana in advancing sustainable fisheries and safeguarding marine resources and congratulated Hon. Emelia Arthur on her appointment.
In addition to thanking the visit, Hon. Emelia Arthur emphasized the value of solid international collaborations in advancing Ghana’s blue economy goal.
“It was a pleasure meeting H.E. Razaaly and his team. The EU has been a longstanding partner in our fisheries sector, and we look forward to deepening this cooperation,” she noted.
Together, we are paving the way for Ghana’s marine and coastal resources to have a more robust and sustainable future.
