The 2024–2025 Premier League season will begin on September 6, 2024, 82 days after the 2023–2024 Premier League ends on June 16, 2024. These dates have been confirmed.
All nine Premier League venues will host the opening games throughout the course of the weekend, from Friday, September 6, 2024, to Monday, September 9, 2024.
The Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) Executive Council approved the schedule for the 2024–25 football season, which led to the release of this calendar.
The new date complies with the GFA’s scheduled kick-off month and honors prior commitments made to teams. It should be noted that the current football season (2022–24) began on the weekend of Friday, September 15, to Monday, September 18, 2023.
The league’s start date has been announced early to allow clubs, players, and other stakeholders enough time to get ready for what should be an exciting and action-packed season.
