The Ministry of Health has conveyed its sincere gratitude to Telecel Ghana, Alive Industries, East Cantonment Pharmacy, and KMI Energies for their substantial contributions to the Ghana Medical Trust Fund (MahamaCares), a program designed to offer financial support to people with chronic illnesses throughout the nation.
In order to assist the project, Telecel Ghana has committed to providing digital colposcopes, biopsy tools, and HPV testing kits to three (3) healthcare facilities.

At least 5,000 women will be screened in the first year thanks to the donation, which will also pay for these facilities’ operating expenses over the course of two years, providing free diagnostic services to underprivileged areas.
Furthermore, the project has received ₵500,000.00 from Alive Industries, ₵50,000.00 from East Cantonment Pharmacy, and ₵5,000.00 from KMI Energies.
It is anticipated that these donations will greatly enhance the MahamaCares program and aid in broadening its influence and scope across the country.
Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, the Minister of Health, highlighted the value of public-private partnerships in enhancing national health outcomes and commended the contributions of the participating companies.
