Nana Baffuor Kotei Kutin Sraman II, Bremahene, the recently appointed Chairman of the National Ambulance Service (NAS) Governing Board, was sworn in by the Ministry of Health in a quick but important event.
Part of the ministry’s continuous endeavors to improve emergency medical service delivery nationwide and fortify governance is the ceremony.
The newly sworn-in Chairman was congratulated by sector minister Hon. Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, who also conveyed confidence in the Governing Board’s ability to lead the National Ambulance Service toward increased responsiveness and efficiency.
He emphasized how vital NAS is to saving lives and urged Board members to be more accountable, creative, and coordinated.

“The National Ambulance Service remains a pillar in our emergency response system. As we continue to improve access to quality healthcare, we must also ensure that our emergency medical services are timely, reliable, and well-governed,” the minister stated.
In his reply, the Chairman conveyed gratitude to the President and the ministry for their confidence.
In order to further the NAS’s mission and enhance staff welfare, response time, and ambulance coverage, he vowed to cooperate with all relevant parties.
Senior ministry officials, NAS representatives, and other invited guests attended the ceremony.
With the goal of attaining Universal Health Coverage and better health outcomes for all Ghanaians, the Ministry of Health is still dedicated to making sure that all of its agencies have strong leadership and governance.
