The list of candidates running in the next parliamentary by-election for the Northern Region’s Tamale Central Constituency has been formally made public by the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The election is set on September 6, 2025, between 7:00 am and 4:00 pm.
Twelve candidates have been legally nominated to compete for the NDC parliamentary candidate post, the party’s general secretary announced in a notice.
The candidates are:

Lawyer Hanan Gundadow Abdul-Rahaman
The Tamale Central Constituency will host a number of polling places for the by-election.
To guarantee a peaceful election, the NDC has urged all party members and sympathizers in the constituency to take part.
