An official list of new appointments to the Office of the Vice President has been authorized by President John Dramani Mahama.
The chosen persons, who were revealed on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, are anticipated to offer a wealth of experience and knowledge to their positions and make a substantial contribution to the national development program of “Resetting Ghana.”
As the Vice President’s Chief of Staff, Alex Percival Segbefia is in charge of the appointments and will make sure that the office’s operations are efficiently coordinated.
In addition to Professor Thereseah Ennin serving as the Vice President’s Special Aide and Presidential Staffer, Mrs. Alberta Graham has been appointed Head of Administration.
Furthermore, Dr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo will be the Political Policy Advisor, and Ms. Daniella Mavis Mathias has been named Secretary to the Vice President.
Dr. Hamza Zakaria and Prof. Sharif Mahmud Khalid, who were both designated as Economic Policy Advisers, will direct economic policy.
Dr. Miriam Rahinatu Iddrisu will concentrate on social sector policies, while Ms. Mansa Amoa Awuah has been named Policy Adviser for Finance to supervise financial policies.
Maame Ama Pratt, who serves as the press secretary and oversees communications for the vice president’s office, completes the team.
