Hon. Eric Opoku, Minister for Food and Agriculture, was the Special Guest of Honour at the induction ceremony for the inaugural cohort of Tree Crop Development Authority (TCDA) Compliance and Enforcement Officers in Kumasi on Monday, January 26, 2026.
The induction of Compliance and Enforcement Officers is a bold and strategic step towards strengthening regulations, restoring order, and developing the tree crop industry.
Furthermore, it creates a strong basis for Ghana’s agricultural economy’s transformation and sustainable growth.
The Minister, Hon. Eric Opoku, led the inspection parade with assistance from Dr. Andy Osei Okrah, the creative CEO of the Tree Crop Development Authority.
