The National Health Insurance Authority’s (NHIA) Bono Regional office has achieved 88% of its target for active membership under the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) for the third quarter of 2024.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Joseph Mensah, the Bono Regional Director, thanked guests and invited them to fully participate in the talks. He underscored the importance of recommendations from district staff in order to enhance membership performance even more.
Mr. Chris MacQuansah, the regional manager of information systems, highlighted this historic accomplishment, which represents the region’s performance for the third quarter of 2024. By the end of September 2024, he claimed that 946,707 active members had been attained out of the 1,080,170 target.
In order to reach the annual goal, regional staff, district managers, and public relations officers (PROs) attended the conference, which had the objective of evaluating progress and identifying critical areas for improvement.
